Pops on the River — "Back to the 80s"
The Reno Phil's 31st annual outdoor fundraising concert returns to Rancho San Rafael Regional Park for a no-sit-still ride through 1980s #1 hits — Time After Time, Material Girl, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Higher Love, I'm Still Standing, Addicted to Love and more. Music made famous by Madonna, Huey Lewis & The News, Phil Collins, and Debbie Gibson.
Vocalists Paul Loren, Brie Cassil, and Colin Smith deliver the hits backed by Grammy-winning Jeff Tyzik arrangements. The evening also features a costume contest, table-decorating contest, extravagant raffle prizes, and a live auction.
Named Best of the West Event of the Year by the American Advertising Federation.
