Reno Rodeo Finals Night lands Saturday Jun 27. The Aces are home all three days vs the Oklahoma City Comets. Art in the Park takes over Bicentennial Park on Saturday. CABARET opens at Bruka. And the Yarn Bomb Reno install at Rancho San Rafael previews what becomes Artown's biggest visual installation in July.

Friday, June 26
The night's anchored by Aces vs OKC Comets at 6:35 PM at Greater Nevada Field. Bruka Theatre opens CABARET at 7 PM — a major opening night for the downtown theater scene. Cypress Reno hosts UNKNOWN ANIMALS featuring Athen at 7 PM. Jake's Garage 5.0 plays the Reno Public Market plaza at 7 PM (free). At the Silver Legacy, Ralph Barbosa's "The Red 40 Tour" runs at 7 and 8 PM, with Craig Shoemaker following at 9:30 PM.

If you've never been to Bruka, this is the show to start with — small downtown venue, walking distance to dinner on Virginia Street, and CABARET runs through July.
Saturday, June 27 — The Big Day
Reno Rodeo Finals Night is the headline. 7:30 PM at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. All eight rodeo events crown their 2026 champion. Single seats are essentially gone — call the box office at 775-329-3877 for any released finals seats. Rhythm & Rawhide at Doc Bar kicks off on the grounds at 11 AM. PNW Stompede Country Swing competition at noon.

- June Bug: A Potentialist Art Party at The Potentialist Workshop, noon — live art and fundraiser
- Aces vs OKC at 6:35 PM

- Ynot!? Live Sketch Comedy Finale at Theatre Works, 9 PM
- Magique: The Grand Illusion Spectacular at Nugget Casino, 8 PM

- Jeff Foxworthy at Silver Legacy, 8 PM

Sunday, June 28 — Wind-Down Day
The carnival stays open at the Rodeo grounds. The big competitive sessions wrapped Saturday night. Easy day to walk through and soak in the closing atmosphere.
The rest of Sunday:
- Yarn Bomb Reno install at Rancho San Rafael, 9 AM, free — community fiber-arts installation goes up; volunteers and spectators welcome. This installation stays up through all of July as part of Artown.
- Aces vs OKC day game at 6:05 PM
- Bachata Brunch at Reno Public Market, noon — free Latin music and dance lessons
- The Crucigirls at Good Luck Macbeth, 2 PM matinee and 7:30 PM evening
- Craig Shoemaker closing show at Silver Legacy, 7:30 PM
The Quiet Story: Artown Starts Next Week
Don't miss this — the Yarn Bomb install Sunday is the visible kickoff for what becomes the biggest Artown installation in July. Artown 2026 launches Wednesday July 1 with Smash Mouth opening night at Rancho San Rafael, free. If you're already at the Yarn Bomb on Sunday, you're standing where the opening-night stage gets built three days later.

If You Only Pick One Day
Saturday is the heavyweight. Rodeo Finals Night + Aces + Art in the Park + CABARET. You can stack the morning at Bicentennial, dinner downtown, and either Finals or the Aces — pick one.
Sunday is the easier day. Yarn Bomb morning, Aces day game, Bachata Brunch at RPM, then either Crucigirls matinee or Craig Shoemaker closing. Low traffic, low cost.
What's Next Weekend
July 4 weekend is the biggest of the year. The new 4th on Fourth Parade, UNR Red White and Flight drone show, Sparks Marina fireworks, Dancing on the River both nights, and Smash Mouth opens Artown on Wednesday July 1.
