The Head and The Heart — Grand Sierra Resort (Sunday)

Indie folk-rock band touring behind their album Aperture. Tyler Ballgame opens. All ages. If you're into Rivers and Roads, Lost in My Mind-era Pacific Northwest folk, this is your show.

SNOWFEST Street Faire — Tahoe City (Saturday)

The 44th annual North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST is in full swing. Saturday's main event is the Tahoe City Street Faire on North Lake Blvd (11 AM - 2 PM) — a reimagined version of the classic parade with floats, live performances, interactive booths, and Mardi Gras beads. If you missed Friday's fireworks show, there's still a full week of events through March 8.

Our Picks

If you're picking one thing: Kings of the West on Saturday is the headliner. For a full weekend outing, combine the SNOWFEST Street Faire in Tahoe on Saturday morning with The Head and The Heart on Sunday night in Reno.

For families, the Cat Show plus That's Magic! makes for a solid Saturday.
